“Kool Keith — the oddball rapper and co-founder of Ultramagnetic MCs who also goes by Dr. Octagon and Black Elvis — brings his abtract kook and insanely oversexed lyrics to Reggies alongside a spread of local artists and DJs, including notables Kid Static (sans Yea Big) and Phillip Morris. Eccentricities aside, Kool Keith remains a cult-rap icon, not to mention the self-proclaimed inventor of horrorcore (see: weaker upstart division, OFWGKTA), and it would be a shame for any hip-hop head to miss out on this.” – Flavorpill

I’ve been throwing this event with 3D visuals for a couple times with Kid Infinity. I do animation, promotion, logistics, labor, etc. etc. etc. Its been going really well and we’ve been getting alot of attention from it as far as press and giant musical acts interested in the technology. Here is some video from the last show that hit the web. The sound is shit, so you might want to just hit the mute button and watch the graphics.
Our friends over at Veoba celebrated the coming out of their new site with a bash at Beauty Bar in Chicago. Played by Jokers of the Scene, Acid Girls, Necrocomicon, and Just Desserts, the thing was popping all night. Talking to people sitting in beauty parlor chairs, getting sweaty as hell on the dancefloor, disco, booze, photos and people getting pedicures. At the end it got popping again when some other jokers lit off some fireworks outside. After that we hit up Five Star to afterparty with the massive amount of dirty girls over there. Good times. And to think I just went in there to play some pool.
Bigups to the fam at Veoba, Just Desserts, Kid Color, Willy Joy, and Finger on the Pulse for that awesome launch party last Wednesday. Nick Brazinsky over at WhoIsNickB.com shot this sick edit of the performance.
The background music is a little taste of the 7″ coming out from yours truly and Hood Internet.
At the beginning of February, while in L.A. I got pulled into the photoshoot for the Blood Is The New Black Summer 2010 line. It was a really good time with beer, pizza, beautiful people, a great band called Signals and best of all I got to hit things with a stick. Here are some shots from that glorious day.

If you weren’t there you missed out B.
You know we like to keep it light and fresh around here. So when Jacob Safari hit me up on some “you wanna get on this track.” I was like “Yes.” Free summer jam from us to you. Wallpaper, the men behind Booty Tweet Is The New Booty Call and a raucously controversial 99 Problems remix collab with Jacob Safari of Mae Shi fame, and yours truly.
